On this platform conversations are developed between artists through each writing about the other. Using a collegiate approach Visualbind explores the specific perspective of the artist to provide a fresh response to each other’s practice in the framework of the contemporary, the excellent, the present and the discussed.

Each quarterly publication will consist of ten to fifteen essays and interviews . Operating on a barter system each artist will write and each will be written about roughly once a year.

We invite artists to propose artists’ practices they would like to write about and who they would like to write about their own current practice.

Each 1000 to 1500 word essay will be accompanied by four images fully attributed, and professionally edited prior to publication .

Each yearly issue will have an ISBN and a copy will be lodged in the National Library of Australia and relevant state libraries.
